A one woman show which describes the life and events which led to the death of Brigid Cleary, the woman accused of being a changeling and burned to death by her husband in Tipperary in 1895. This moving play brings forth a whole slew of  issues -issues of inequality, tradition and superstition, progression and ignorance, group mentality and individual steadfastness. Written and performed by Eve O’Mahony, she explores the large chasm between a newly emerging modern Ireland at the turn of the 20th century and an Ireland steeped in folklore and mythology.
