Trains over the Liffey – Kilcullen and the Sallins-Tullow Railway is an illustrated talk by Liam Kenny focusing on the old Sallins-Tullow rail line that passed through the Harristown Estate, just east of Kilcullen, which contained its own stop and a fine viaduct over the River Liffey (pictured).

Organised as part of a series of lectures on the history of Kilcullen and surrounding districts to celebrations to the origins of the village in the construction of the first stone bridge at Kilcullen spanning the Liffey in 1319.

Everyone is welcome.
