 ibrary.  \nThe title of Dr Frances Nolan's talk is:  'Runners and ride
 rs: 230 years of jump racing in Kildare'.\n\nFrances Nolan is a historian 
 based in UCD. She has published on political\, social and gender history.
  Her latest book\, 'National hunt and point-to-point racing in Ireland: a
  history' is due to appear in September 2025. Her family has had a long 
 association with horse racing in Ireland. Tracing the evolution of nation
 al hunt and point-to-point racing in Ireland from the eighteenth century t
 o the present day\, her talk will focus on Kildare.\n\nAll welcome!
