Co. Kildare Women in the Revolutionary Period
Local Studies, Genealogy and Archives are compiling a biographical list of Co. Kildare members of Cumann na mBan and other women who were active in the county during the revolutionary period. It is hoped to publish a book later in the year as a permanent record of these women.
Did you have an ancestor who was involved? We are relying on official records and newspapers etc. to identify women who were involved, and we want to ensure that no-one is left out. All information would be gratefully received, as well as photographs of women at any stage of their lives.
