Well known local historian Mick Mulvey has just written a unique new book called “Naas Town Hall, From Castle Keep to Council Chamber” which tells the fascinating story of Naas Town Hall over the past one hundred and fifty years. The Town Hall has been at the centre of community life in Naas whether as a home for the Working Men’s Club or presenting the splendour of the Hunt Ball. Mick has managed to capture all this and much more in a nostalgic trip down memory lane with his “Tales from the Town Hall”. This book is a significant addition to the library of Naas Local History.
The book will be officially launched on Thursday 13th June in the Town Hall Chamber by the Mayor of Naas, Cllr. Willie Callaghan.
The launch will be at 7.30 pm and all are welcome.
