Lecture by Dr Anne O’Dowd
Monday 7 April 2025
Celbridge Library 7.30 pm
In memory of Jeanne Meldon Walsh
For our April lecture, we warmly welcome Dr Anne O’Dowd, author, and formerly curator at the National Museum of Ireland – Countrylife at Turlough Park,
Castlebar which opened in 2001. Anne was involved in setting it up and worked there for many years. She proposed the talk as a memorial lecture and tribute to
our Jeanne Meldon Walsh RIP who was her lifelong friend. We were delighted with her proposal. Members of Jeanne’s family and local friends will join us for the
occasion.
