Town, Gown and Renoun – Exhibition
Maynooth Local History Group – Russell Library – Maynooth 850 Russell Library, “Town, Gown and Renoun” Exhibition – up to 21 st May 2026. A small exhibition celebrating 850 years since the FitzGeralds established the town of Maynooth in 1176 is currently on display in the Russell Library. This exhibition presents three themed cases—’Town’, ‘Gown’, and ‘Renown’. Together, they showcase a curated selection of materials highlighting key historical moments connected to Maynooth College, its students, staff, and servants, as well as notable library treasures, marking this significant milestone in 2026.
