Open Day to this summer’s archaeological dig will take place on 9th July 2023 from 1 to 4 pm.
The archaeological team conducting this years dig will be on site to explain the significance of the site and some of the preliminary results of this years dig.
There will be a small admission fee which will be donated to the charity Friends of St. Brigid Hospice.
Parking will be in a grass field off the Athy Road (R418).
Directions from Kilcullen: Driving south from Kilcullen, pass over the M9 Motorway and continue straight on the R418 road towards Athy. Continue straight on the R418 beyond the junction to Castledermot for 250 meters and the field entrance is on the right side of the road.
