The Life and Times of St. Brigid – Brigid 1500 Education Pack
An education pack focusing on the life and times of St Brigid has been launched on the Brigid1500 website. The pack tells the story of St. Brigid in a historical context, focusing on Ireland and Kildare 1,500 years ago.
The pack consists of a 30+ page colour printable booklet with activity sheets and accompanying lesson plans, aimed towards primary school children.
The education pack will be circulated through Kildare education network and is also available from community libraries throughout Kildare. It can be download online from www.brigid1500.ie in advance of St. Brigid’s Day 2024.
