About Leixlip History Club

The first meeting of Leixlip History Club was held on Thursday the 25th of November 2010. The meeting included a talk by Suzanne Pegley on sources for genealogy and a talk byJohn Colgan on sources for local history.

Kildare Library Services also gave a presentation at the inaugural meeting. Mario Corrigan and Gillian Allen outlined the resources available at Newbridge and Leixlip Community Libraries respectively.

Leixlip History Club holds its regular meetings on the third Thursday of the month in Leixlip Community Library at 7.15 p.m.
