County Kildare Federation of Local History Groups’ AGM & Seminar took place in Kilcullen Heritage Centre on Saturday 14 October 2023.
The programme was as follows:
9:30 am – Registration
10:00 am – The St. Brigid Code by Eoghan Corry (Video below)
11:00 am – Break – Tea/Coffee and light refreshments will be available during the break.
11:30am – Stand ye now for Ireland’s Cause by James Durney.
12 noon – The Annual General Meeting of the County Kildare Federation of Local History Groups.

Two talks took place before the AGM:
Eoghan Corry talk on The St Brigid Code, (see below for video)was part of a series of talks organised by the Federation that are running from August 2023 to January 2024 in the run-up to the Brigid 1500 celebrations.
Historian James Durney’s presentation was based on his new book Stand you now for Ireland’s Cause: a biographical index of Co. Kildare republican activists 1913-23.
