The County Kildare Federation of Local History Groups in 2023 organised a series of talks in the run up to the Brigid 1500 celebrations, an initiative to mark the 1500 anniversary in 2024 of St Brigid’s death in AD 524.
The talks commenced during Heritage Week 2023 and continued each month until January 2024 at Kilcullen Heritage Centre.
