The making of the The Blue Max movie

Our next talk will take place on Monday, 13 May 2024 at 7.45pm in Celbridge Library.
Tony Maher will speak about The making of the “The Blue Max” movie in 1965.

It was filmed largely in the Wicklow mountains and at Weston and Baldonnel, generating much local excitement. Several international stars lent glamour, including George Peppard, James Mason, Ursula Andress – and Tony was one of the many local extras in the film.  A story worth telling.
