Sallins Local History Society

Sallins Local History Society was founded by Dr Keith Murphy, Fiona Dillon, Mary Carson and Lorna Carroll in December 2022. They recognised the need for a group of like minded people to congregate and research, record, and collect historical information on the village of Sallins.

The society hold monthly events for both our members and the public including talks, walks, and get-togethers with various topics in mind such as walks around the village guided by local historians as well as talks on points or figures of historical interest connected to Sallins and its environs.
