County Kildare has a very active local history community that organises a wide variety of talks and event throughout the year, along with a busy programme during each Heritage Week.
This colourful selection of graphics, created by our webmaster to accompany notices, illustrates the diverse range of topics covered in talks and other events that our member groups and the wider local history/heritage community have offered in recent years. In addition, each year new publications are released on local topics and by local history groups, Co. Kildare historians and authors, and we aim to highlight these in our news section.
