Dominicans of Yoemanstown and the Eustaces of Naas

A joint talk by Ger McCarthy (Naas Local History Group) and Seán Shanahan (Shanarc Archaeology) on the history of the Dominicans of Naas who relocated to Yoemanstown, Caragh, under the patronage of the Eustace family of Naas, during the period marked by the penal laws.

Shanarc Archaeology undertook a geophysical archaeological survey during the summer of 2023 at Yeomanstown Stud in Caragh and will present their findings on the night.
