County Kildare Federation of Local History Groups’ AGM & Seminar will take place in Kilcullen Heritage Centre on Saturday 14 October 2023.Registration will be from 9 to 9:30am.
The programme has yet to be announced in full but we will be presenting two talks either side of our usual AGM format followed by Society Speak.
Tea/Coffee and light refreshments will be available during the break.Talks:Eoghan Corry will give a talk on The St Brigid Code, as part of a series of talks organised by the Federation that are running from August 2023 to January 2024 in the run-up to the Brigid 1500 celebrations.Historian James Durney will give a presentation based on his new book Stand you now for Ireland’s Cause: a biographical index of Co. Kildare republican activists 1913-23.Please Note: times have yet to be confirmed! Check back at a later date for more details of the programme.
